"Not surprised with the caliber of drivers here in wake county"- I have to agree since most of the people here now are from somewhere else!! LOL

I am not saying that the cell was absolutely not the cause, but, when did the constitution give all you fruitcakes to become Judge, and jury?
dwr1964.......Fruitcakes? Who are you, the defense lawyer? There are a limited number of reasons this could happen. The bottom line is that the driver was not paying attention. Or just stupid. Good luck with your defense strategy. At least all us "fruitcakes" are not defending a fool.

Thankfully, no children were hurt. As to why this happened, there is NOT ONE SINGLE BIT OF PROOF, that a cell phone was to blame. I am not saying that the cell was absolutely not the cause, but, when did the constitution give all you fruitcakes to become Judge, and jury?

So glad no one was injured. But gee what is the problem in not seeing a big yellow school bus? Was the person on their cell phone? Which is not unusual. The person that hit the bus should be charged.

I passed the accident on my way home....can't imagine how you can rear-end a bus unless you're distracted and not looking out your windshield. It was heading south on Falls of Neuse during rush hour and the bus most likely had stopped for the light at Sandy Forks Road, and the driver in the car didn't! That's what it looked like to me, anyway. Glad nooone was hurt, only damage appeared to be to the car's front end

"Charges can come weeks after an accident."

So can soft-tissue "injuries", if you use the lawyers who flood your mailbox after a citation. ;-)

I'm guessing the bus wasn't big enough to see how close they were driving to it. Maybe the big yellow & black bus seems father away thru a windshield.

Hope no one was hurt, as for charges to driver, they stated it was "unclear" , so they really don't know. Charges can come weeks after an accident.

I would like to see 100 tailgating citations issued by Raleigh Police today in the area of the wreck as a preventative measure to help prevent tailgating wrecks.

It should only take about 1 hour to issue those 100 citations so get to work RPD.
