North Raleigh Whole Foods remains open after car rams wall

Raleigh, N.C. — A car ran into the front of a Whole Foods Market in north Raleigh early Wednesday morning.
By 9 a.m., the car had been removed, and the store at 8710 Six Forks Road was open for business.
A portion of the store's patio was surrounded in yellow tape, and a large hole was visible in the wall, but it did not appear to penetrate entirely into the store.
A Raleigh police spokeswoman said the driver lost control of her vehicle, drove over the curb and struck two other vehicles and a sign before hitting the building.
