— A car plunged into a pond at a sewage treatment plant on Fort Bragg Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Divers from Spring Lake were called in to locate the car at the plant off Manchester Road. They didn't find anybody inside the hatchback car.

It's unclear who the car belongs to or how it ended up in the water.
