A car jumped a curb and crashed through a window at Chili's Restaurant in Raleigh Thursday evening, according to a Raleigh Watch Commander.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A car jumped a curb and crashed through a window at Chili's Restaurant in Raleigh Thursday evening, according to police.

The driver was attempting to park in the parking lot when the vehicle suddenly went into the building, police said. The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. 

Customers and staff were evacuated from the restaurant, located at 6324 Glenwood Ave., according to Chili's staff. The gas was also turned off, staff said.
