Car Collides With Sampson School Bus
One person has been taken to the hospital after a head-on collision involving a school bus.
Posted — UpdatedCLINTON, N.C. — One person has been taken to the hospital after a head-on collision involving a school bus.
Authorities said the accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Issac Road in Sampson County.
Investigators said the driver of a car was going around a corner and the sun got in the driver's eyes. Authorities said the driver then collided with the school bus.
Officials said there were 21 kids on the bus, but none were injured. The car's driver was airlifted to a hospital.
