Car Collides With Sampson School Bus

— One person has been taken to the hospital after a head-on collision involving a school bus.

Authorities said the accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Issac Road in Sampson County.

Investigators said the driver of a car was going around a corner and the sun got in the driver's eyes. Authorities said the driver then collided with the school bus.

Officials said there were 21 kids on the bus, but none were injured. The car's driver was airlifted to a hospital.

    Z-Man, I think you have 2 stories mixed together. The driver you are talking about was involved in an accident in Raleigh on Monday. This accident happened this morning in Sampson County.

    this is not hard to believe i live in clinton (sampson county) and this morning i was just thinking i need some sun glasses. somtimes you can not see the road. hope everyone will be okay

    "The car's driver was airlifted to a hospital."... where it was determined the driver provided a ficticious name. The vehicle involved in the accident was reported stolen in Charlotte yesterday. It has also been determined their blood achocol content exceeded the .08 legal limitand that the driver previous had been caught two times attempting to enter the country illegally. bla bla bla

    So as not to offend the ealily offended I'll just say that my kindest thoughts are with the driver for a full recovery.

    On second thought, My thoughts and prayers go out to the driver and their family. May GOD be beside them.
