From July 2 to Aug. 23, hours will be 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The lighthouse will also be open during holiday weekends on May 25, July 6 and Aug. 31.

Actually, the lighthouse is located on the South Core Banks across from the south end of Shackleford Banks. Not Harkers Island.
