You may know of the Comedy Central roasts, where big-name celebrities are made fun of, mildly insulted, and even verbally attacked by other famous people, all in the name of good TV. At The Celebrity (and not so celebrity) Roast of Greg Fishel, there won't be any high profile celebs, but there will be local personalities poking fun at our favorite meteorologist for a good cause.
A panel of the folks who know Greg best, including emcee Lynda Loveland (of Mix 101.5's Bill & Lynda in the Morning), Bill Leslie (WRAL-TV), Gerald Owens (WRAL-TV), Joe Ovies (99.9 The Fan) and Adam Gold (99.9 The Fan), will be poking fun at the pun-loving meteorologist while guests eat and enjoy the show.
Tickets are $100, and less than 25 remain! They can be purchased online. The event starts at 7 p.m. at The Cardinal Club on Friday, Jan. 18.

All proceeds of the roast will benefit the Athens Drive Arts Foundation, which supports music at Athens Drive High School. The Foundation funds instruments, uniforms, scholarships, transportation and more in support of the musical arts.

Greg is a supporter of the arts at Athens Drive High School, where he chaperones the week-long band camp and serves as a member of the Marching Band Pit Crew.
