Raleigh, N.C. — Cafe Helios is closing its doors, owners announced via social media Tuesday morning.
"Helios would like to thank all of you for the loyal support and friendship this past year," a post on the restaurant's Facebook page read. "We are excited to announce that the space is changing and venturing in a new direction. As of Dec 1, 413 Glenwood Ave. will be closed. However, please stay tuned for a new vision arriving early 2017. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season as we look forward to the future."
Cafe Helios was open for 12 years at 413 Glenwood Ave., before abruptly closing its doors in December 2014. The cafe reopened under new ownership in January.
