Lenovo will offer what it is calling “deeply discounted" new and refurbished ThinkPad and IdeaPad laptops and ThinkCentre desktops direct to the public. Some models will cost less than $300.
Starting at 8 a.m. and through the afternoon, the machines will be on sale in the auditorium of Building 3 of Lenovo's Morrisville campus.
Monitors and accessories also will be available.
Lenovo has invested heavily over the past two years in laptops and desktops designed for consumers, from “netbooks” of miniscule size to super-model, thin laptops and ultra-small desktops.
Warning – checks won’t be accepted. Bring cash or a VISA or MasterCard, Lenovo says.
The Lenovo campus is off Interstate 40, at Airport Boulevard at Exit 284. For GPS users, here’s the address: 1017 Think Place, Morrisville, 27560.
Happy shopping.
