RALEIGH, N.C. — Trammell Crow Residential’s seven-story condominium project to be built in downtown Raleigh will be called “Hue.”

The official naming was announced on Friday. Up until Hue, it had been called The Nash.

Hue reflects in part the nature of the building, which the builder said will feature a “bold color palette.”

“This unique community offers downtown Raleigh a fresh experience,” said TCR Senior Managing Director Tom Barker. “To do it justice, it needed a name that would reflect its personality.

The building will be constructed at the northwest corner of Hargett and Dawson streets.

Construction will start this summer and is expected to be finished in the second half of 2009. The average price for condos will be under $300,000, the company said.

Buyers can pick between nine floor plans. Prices start at under $200,000.

Reservations will be taken starting this summer.
