RALEIGH, N.C. – JetBlue is adding a flight to its daily service from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Citing customer demand, JetBlue said it would add a fifth departure beginning on May 1.
The new flight will depart RDU at 8:10 p.m., a JetBlue spokesperspon said.
To accommodate the additional flight, an earlier departure will change to 6:10 p.m. from 7:10 p.m.
JetBlue also offers service to Boston from RDU.
The airline utilizes 100-seat Embraer 190 model jets.
JetBlue recently encountered numerous weather-related problems at JFK and as a result responded with changes in customer service procedures.
