Chapel Hill, N.C. — Susan Cates, a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-CH, is the school’s new associate dean of executive development.
Cates, who is a native of North Carolina, received an undergraduate degree at Duke.
Before joining Kenan-Flagler, Cates was a partner in the private equity firm Best Associates in Dallas. She succeeds James Dean Jr., who recently was named senior associate dean for academic affairs at Kenan-Flagler
