Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Buy.com has selected Triangle-based ChannelAdvisor to implement a software solution that gives its on-line retailers a single interface for listing merchandise and processing orders across numerous e-commerce channels.
The ChannelAdvisor Complete platform is the first to fully integrate with Internet superstore Buy.com, and is expected to launch completely by sometime this summer. Buy.com retailers will be extended a promotion to integrate without incurring transaction fees for a specified period of time.
Over 170 new retail customers were recently added to the platform. Some of the high-profile retailers include: HSN Interactive, LuggagePoint.com, Pacific Sunwear, Sharper Image, Under Armour and Victoria's Secret.
"ChannelAdvisor clearly understands the rapidly evolving needs of today's online retailers and this shows in the retail-focused solutions they have developed," says Neel Grover, chief executive officer of Buy.com. "Buy.com is the perfect place for on-line retailers to sell their high-quality, brand name products, take advantage of a wide audience of new customers and offer a seamless buying experience."
"On-line retailers are offered more selling opportunities than ever before. That's why it is important for them to leverage the broad range of on-line channels efficiently," says Scot Wingo, CEO of ChannelAdvisor. "We are enthusiastic about working with these top retailers and honing multi-channel e-commerce sales strategies that keep their products in front of on-line consumers."
ChannelAdvisor, who works with retailers to optimize within the e-commerce marketplace, offers a range of products and services for selling profitably on-line.
