RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Jeffrey Sohl, director of the Center for Venture Research at the University of New Hampshire, will be the keynote speaker for the Angel Investor Retreat put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
Sohl is widely recognized as an expert on angel capital investing.
The retreat is set for April 24 at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club in Durham. It is also part of the CED’s annual venture conference event.
"Last year's Angel Investor Retreat was filled to capacity, and we look forward to yet another strong turnout this year from angels and other active investors who are actively seeking seed-stage deals,” said CED President Monica Doss. “With Dr. Sohl joining us to speak about the state of angel capital, this year’s retreat is a must for any early-stage investor who wants to learn more about angel capital trends.”
The retreat also will include presentations from early-stage companies seeking initial funding.
Companies wanting to present must apply by March 5.
