DURHAM, N.C. — Capitol Broadcasting Co. plans to add to its American Tobacco Campus development in downtown Durham.

The company, which also owns WRAL, is filing site plans for a third Diamond View office building, retail and office space near the Durham Performing Arts Center and mixed-use space wrapping around a parking deck at the east end of the campus.

"American Tobacco's mission is to be the most exciting place in the country to go to work, seek out entertainment and culture and come home to live. Our plans will enhance the campus, downtown Durham and the Triangle," Michael Goodmon, Capitol Broadcasting's vice president for real estate, said in a statement.

The three projects would add about 200,000 square feet to the development. No timetable for construction or potential tenants were released.
