Oxford, N.C. — Cosmetics maker Revlon, Granville County's largest private employer, plans to add more than 100 jobs to its local work force, officials said.

Revlon is bringing a returned-merchandise processing operation to Oxford, and officials said the positions would be filled locally. The operation had been handled by a vendor in Maryland, officials said.

Granville County commissioners voted in May to give the company $1 million to help with its $50 million expansion. Revlon plans to purchase new equipment to update its facility.
