The online world was abuzz this month when the Library of Congress put a large set of photos -- over 3000 -- on online photo service Flickr. Now Duke has followed suit, with its own "Duke Yearlook", available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/dukeyearlook/ .
The new Flickr set has over 250 photos going back to the 1920s, including student life, entertainment, and of course the Duke Blue Devil (is that Blue Devil from 1955 really hanging upside down from the crossbar of the goalpost?)
Not all the pictures have a lot of description, but of course Flickr invites users to comment on photos. And don't forget to check the "All Sizes" option so you can see all the details in the 1920s Alumni Parade...
