WMF Vulnerability Update: Microsoft Offers Patch

Microsoft has patched the Microsoft WMF-handling vulnerability that I mentioned on December 31st. Microsoft was going to release it next week, but as you might imagine they had a lot of pressure to release a patch early for such a critical exploit. You can download the patch at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS06-001.mspx. If you used it, don't forget to uninstall the WMF hotfix patch from Ilfak Guilfanov. (According to Ilfak you can uninstall it before or after uninstalling the official patch.)
