New IE Security Flaw
Hello! I'm at Computers in Libraries in Washington DC. More about that later this evening, but I'll tell you this -- American Idol isn't the only place you'll see a bunch of cool North Carolinians!
Just popped in to warn you about a new IE security issue. BetaNews has
an article about it. Basically it's another one of those "all you have to do is visit a mean page and code executes" issues.
Microsoft's Security Response Team as a response in their blog about the issue: read it at http://blogs.technet.com/msrc/archive/2006/03/22/422849.aspx.
Right now their fix is "Turn off Active Scripting," but I'm sure a patch will churn though eventually with Windows' monthly updates.
