Bus drivers cited in Morrisville wreck

The wreck happened Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road. One bus rear-eneded a car, starting a chain reaction, Morrisville police said.

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The drivers of two school buses involved in a collision in Morrisville Wednesday have been charged.

Sharon R. Blount and Jammie B. Batiste were both cited for failure to reduce speed, Morrisville police said.

The wreck happened Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road. One bus rear-eneded a car, starting a chain reaction, Morrisville police said.

Both buses were carrying students at the time. One child from the first bus was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
