Burt's Bees Family Jammies are among Oprah's Favorite Things in 2016 (Amazon)

— Two local businesses are getting some attention from Oprah Winfrey.

Burt's Bees, which is headquartered in Durham, made Oprah's favorite things this year. Winfrey loves their 100 percent organic cotton family pajamas so much, she wore them on the cover of the December issue of O: The Oprah Magazine.

"I took the liberty of testing out an ultracozy organic cotton onesie so I could personally attest to its comfort and quality. You can outfit your whole clan – perfect for the annual holiday card," Winfrey wrote.

La Farm Bakery in Cary has breads featured in December's issue, dubbed the "Favorite Things" edition. The breads featured include owner and baker Lionel Vatinet’s signature 5-pound sourdough “La Farm” boule boasting a “Happy Holidays” or reindeer stencil, their 2-pound multi-grain and their new Scandinavian Rye Bread. The bakery is offering one of each featured bread in a seasonal gift box this year for $36.99.
