Burglars crash car into Durham game store

— Durham police said that burglars crashed a car into the front door of a video game store late Monday afternoon.

Several thousand dollars worth of video games and accessories were stolen from the GameStop store at 5408 New Hope Commons Drive.

Police were working Tuesday to identify suspects in the case.

Anyone with information on this crime should call police at 919-560-4583, extension 29365 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers can remain anonymous.

    Well... let me start before the criminal supporters get here:

    1. poor souls... they grew up without the love and attention... and did not get into smart start... so we owe them.

    2. If they had been given decent toys as youths, then this never would have happened. We need more toy giveaways during the year.. not just at xmas.

    3. It's our fault. Shame on us.

    4. I hope insurance pays to repair their car.. and if it was stolen... then it's our fault they did not have one of their own....

    WRAL. You might want to fact check because I had dinner with my father, who is from Durham, on Sunday and he was telling me about this story then. Is this a different crime or just late reporting?
