Bunnlevel, N.C. — The Harnett County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a Bunnlevel man.
Lawrence T. McQueen, 41, of 50 Shetland Lane, was found dead by deputies shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday near his home, investigators said.
A woman, Latina N. Ray, 30, of 16 Lilly Lane, Bunnlevel, later surrendered to authorities.
According to an incident report, the two had been arguing when McQueen was shot. Investigators believe he and Ray were in a relationship.
Ray was charged with one count of first-degree murder and was being held without bond Thursday afternoon at the Harnett County Detention Center.
