The location of the damaged water line and a time frame for repairing it weren't disclosed.

Town inspectors are testing water samples for possible bacteria contamination, but officials said that, until the tests show the water in the system to be safe, any water used for drinking, cooking and making ice should first be boiled for at least two minutes and then cooled to kill off any harmful microbes.
