DURHAM, N.C. — If you have always dreamed of singing the National Anthem at a Durham Bulls game, you might get your chance.
The Bulls are hosting an open tryout for singers this Saturday at the Streets at Southpoint Mall in Durham.

Auditions are from noon to 2 p.m. on the outdoor stage adjacent to Southpoint Cinemas and the Cheesecake Factory.

Just register when you arrive and wait your turn. Auditions are first come, first serve. You get one minute and thirty seconds to sing the "Star Spangled Banner." You must memorize the lyrics and perform it in a traditional style.

Singers will be contacted later after the Bulls decide who will perform at select dates during the season. Spots are limited.

For additional information on singing the National Anthem at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park or if you have a group interested in performing, contact Josh Trezvant at 919-687-6545 or jtrezvant@durhambulls.com.

Anyone planning on trying out?
