Bull City Play Streets offer free, outdoor activities in Durham

The events, which are free and open to the public, aim to give kids and adults supervised spaces to enjoy outdoor activities such as sports, games and dancing.

The city and county of Durham, along with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, will host Bull City Play Streets on two Saturdays this month.

The events, which are free and open to the public, aim to give kids and adults supervised spaces to enjoy outdoor activities such as sports, games and dancing.

Here's what's scheduled this month: 

Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
205 S. Elm St. in Durham
Event features: Zumba fitness class, line dancing, jump roping, and bike riding

Saturday, June 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Driver St. (between Taylor St. and Ashe St.) in Durham

Event features: inflatable obstacle courses, games, fitness demonstrations, music, health and wellness information booths
