Bull City Craft plans move, seeks community support
Bull City Craft, the popular arts and crafts store in Durham, is moving by the end of June and has launched an online fundraising campaign to support its move to a bigger home.
Posted — UpdatedJessica Greene, a mom who owns the store with her husband, tells me that the shop, which offers a variety of special events and activities, will be in search of a new home by the end of this month. The lease has expired and a different business will be moving into the current location, she wrote in a email.
"We're looking at some really exciting possibilities for a new space," she tells me.
Greene, who also teaches art in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools, is looking to raise $10,000. Donors, who offer anywhere between $10 to $1,000, earn incentives - from play dough to a week of summer camp or a party.
Bull City Craft opened in the Rockwood Shopping Center on University Drive in April 2011.
