Bull City Craft: Make these adorable ice skates

Every week at Playcraft, our drop-in creative play space for kids ages one and up, we have a different special craft. We come up with ideas based on materials we have or we search Pinterest for new projects. This one is a recent favorite. We found the original idea at Scholastic.

Ice Skates
Materials needed
Colored paper
Scissors
Glue
Markers or crayons
Craft Sticks

Sequins, glitter, or other decorations

Instructions

Draw a boot shape with two skinny rectangular tabs extending from the bottom (see image).

Cut out boot and tabs.

Decorate boot with crayons, markers, sequins, or glitter.

Glue and fold tabs around craft stick to form the ice skate blade.

Repeat to make a pair of ice skates!
