Now in its new location, Bull City Craft will again be offering after school art classes.
The locally owned art supply store and craft studio moved to the Homestead Market Shopping Center in Durham, near Interstate 40 and The Streets at Southpoint, in the spring. The store features drop-in activities, birthday parties, camps and, now, after school activities.

"We had offered after school art in our original location, but with the move and getting settled, it has been a while since we have offered something like that," Jessica Greene, who owns Bull City Craft with her husband, tells me. “Since moving to this location, we’ve had a lot of requests for After School Art. As an art teacher, I know that kids always want more time for making things and expressing themselves. We’ve worked hard to put together a program that will be fun and engaging while developing children’s creative skills.”

Class offerings include Canvas Class, Drawing Class, Sculpture Class, and Mixed Media. The hour-long classes are designed for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The fall session will last eight weeks - from Sept. 26 to Nov. 17. The classes cost $136 (tax included). Extended hours are available.
