— Two brothers from Wilson who were wanted in an April shooting that wounded three people were caught in South Carolina Monday.

U.S. marshals arrested Daryl Len Farmer, 23, of 610 Blount St., and Antonio Marquis Farmer, 22, of 905 Phillips St., at 4824 Smallwood Road in Columbia, S.C. They were placed in the Lexington County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to North Carolina.

"Fugitives of this caliber are a main priority for arrests," U.S. Marshal Kelvin Washington said in a statement.

Investigators said that the Farmer brothers got into an argument that turned violent, and they then shot three people at 104 Hines St. on April 27.

Both men are charged with three counts each of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
