Just wanted to share a bit more information about the Breathless Reads tour, which will stop at Quail Ridge Books & Music in Raleigh at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The tour features the authors of five newly published and bestselling books appropriate for ages 14 and up. I suspect a few of your teens (and dare I say moms) might have a few of these on your shelves.

The books and authors are "Matched," by Ally Condie, "Nighshade" by Andrea Cremer, "The Eternal Ones" by Kirsten Miller, "Across the Universe" by N.C. author Beth Revis, and "The Replacement" by Brenna Yovanoff. Penguin published all five of the books.

The folks at Quail Ridge tell me that there will be a panel discussion with lots of audience interaction. The authors will sign posters and there will be some other giveaways. Quail Ridge is the tour's last stop on a five-city tour. The other stops were in New York, Minneapolis, Denver and Salt Lake City.

The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.

For details on each of the books and the event, check Quail Ridge's website. And you also can follow the tour on Facebook.
This is one of many events for kids at Quail Ridge this month.
