Brannon files disclosure form

Posted April 11, 2014

This is a screen grab of a small portion of U.S. Senate candidate Greg Brannon's ethics disclosure form.

— U.S. Senate candidate Greg Brannon's ethics paperwork is now up to date.

Earlier this year year, @NCCapitol noted that Brannon had failed to file a needed ethics disclosure form.

Senate rules require that all senators and candidates for office who spend more than $5,000 toward a campaign file a form disclosing their potential conflict of interest.

In February, Brannon's campaign said they had filed the form, but it had not showed up online or in hard files with the Senate public records office. Brannon mailed a new form on March 18.

The  document is now available. It shows Brannon has income from his obstetrics and gynecology practice as well as a medical weight loss clinic. The form also shows Brannon's affiliation with pregnancy support clinics that discourage abortions.

I am in the financial services industry and know many well to do people that don't own any of those.

The bias by the media is beyond sickening. Real Journalism is dead and corruption is all that's left in the mainstream media.

I think Dogman was asking why WRAL has not posted the forms for the other candidates. Which is a good question. Where are they WRAL?

On file with the Board of Elections where anyone can view them. Really, it's not a secret, you don't need a special password or handshake to see.

"He has my vote, if for no other reason, he is not a career politician. ". -Veyor

Bilking people out of millions of dollars and not paying taxes. Sounds just like a career politician.

The disclosure form claims that he owns no publicly traded stock....no mutual funds, 401k, etc.....riiiiiiiiiight. Not quite sure how you can get away with flat out lying like that.

Odd that 'Brannon' and 'ethics' can be used in the same sentence given the recent court findings.

"Brannon is actually a good guy but the DC Establishment is about to steam roll him."- USCNNC

I think he steamrolled himself when he didn't pay his taxes and got convicted by a jury of his peers for fraud.
