Brandon Banks testifying in his own trial; State has rested case
The state rested its case Wednesday morning in the rape trial against former Vanderbilt football player Brandon Banks.

The state called four more witnesses, including the victim, who had to relive her assault on the stand for the fourth time in this case.
Banks is the third former Vanderbilt football player to go to trial. Cory Batey and Brandon Vandenburg have already been tried and convicted.
On Tuesday in court, jurors were shown graphic pictures and videos of the assault that a detective recovered from Banks' cellphone.
One of the state's key witnesses, Jaborian McKenzie, also testified against Banks. McKenzie is also charged in the case and is the only one who has not gone to trial. He told the courts about the role Banks played in the rape of an unconscious female student.
Banks' defense team is trying to sell the idea that Banks was pressured into participating.
