My heart goes out to SGT Carey, and her family. SGT Carey and myself were in the same class for AIT as paralegals. She was a honest and hard working person. She was an all around great person to be around, and was always positive. She also beat my fellow SGT at that Board in Iraq. I wish I had seen her again, she will be missed, much love goes out to her and her family.

@amandalynnrankin, yes, she fought for people like wildcat, but she also fought for people like my children who have the privilage of getting up each and every morning in this free country and go off to school knowing that they are safe and that wonderful people like her have their six. It takes brave people like Sgt Carey to allow us the freedoms we have. I thank her for her service, and her dear mother is in my thoughts.

@kewlmom, thanks. yeah i couldnt let it go, he didnt deserve anykind of explaination what-so-ever but i felt she needed to be defended. she was a really good person, and just to think that people who dont even know her (or what happened) could just say things about her really makes me mad. trust me i didnt say all the things i felt like saying, also i couldnt due to guidelines. her poor mother, i cant imagine how she feels and i couldnt let that person just say those things about her. she is so loved and deeply missed. this is just a horrible tragedy, thank you for the kind words, im sorry to say she fought for her country to defend people like that.

amandalynnrankin, Honey, do like I did and just ignore wildcat. I have no idea what he said because I can't read his posts as all he likes to do is make people angry. I am so so sorry for your loss, and my heart goes out to your friends and to Sgt Carey's family.

@wildcat: how dare you, do you even know this beautiful person? did you serve your country with her? are you in the military? well guess what I happen to have the honor of calling her a best friend. you didnt know her, so why are YOU so concerned? it was an ACCIDENT. I know that is hard to believe since all the crime there is usually intended by all those punks and low-lifes. ASHLEY CAREY IS A HERO. Have you ever been to Iraq? HOW DO YOU COME OFF SAYING SHE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRIME? Were you there? Dont think so. TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPASSION IM SURE HER FAMILY IS THANKING YOU. And I thank you, she was the sweetest person and a GREAT SOLDIER. @WILDCAT THE UPDATES ARE NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. WHY DONT YOU GET A LIFE, JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS LIVING IN FAYETTVILLE/RAEFORD DOESNT MEAN SHE WAS LIKE THE PEOPLE THERE. FLY WITH ANGELS SGT ASHLEY CAREY, AIRBORNE!
