RALEIGH, N.C. — Dancing, singing and praying - the boy band parody "Altar Boyz" hits the stage at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts this weekend.
The show centers on a Christian boy band on the last night of their tour.
The family-friendly show isn't in the vein of "Book of Mormon." The goal isn't to offend, just be a little silly. The band - Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham, the only Jewish member - sings lyrics including "Girl, You Make Me Want to Wait" and "Jesus Called Me on My Cell Phone."
I went to the set to learn a few of their dance moves and find out a bit more about the show.
