Raleigh, N.C. — Bottle Rev, a bottle shop chain with three stores in the Triangle, announced Wednesday its plans to open three more area locations in 2017.
With two Raleigh locations (on Lead Mine Road and Lake Boone Trail) and one Morrisville location currently open, Bottle Rev (formerly called Bottle Revolution) is about to double its Triangle presence.
The newest Bottle Rev will open in May in Chapel Hill at 3130 Environ Way. Soon after, in the summer, Bottle Rev will open another location in Apex in the former Barley & Vine wine shop at 800 W. Williams Street.
A third location in Pittsboro is scheduled to open in the new Chatham Park community late in the year.
"I have been lucky to find beer enthusiasts that share the brand's vision," said owner Ted Gross, who licensed stores in Morrisville and at the Greystone Shopping Center in Raleigh before selling his original location on Lake Boone Trail in January, 2016. "They understand the key principals of retail -- making customer service the highest priority."
Gross has plans to open even more Bottle Revs in the future.
"With six stores, we will be able to continue to collaborate with some of our favorite breweries which is great fun and has yielded some great beers," he said.
