Booth Amphitheatre's monthly Tuesdays for Tots is set for 9:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday.

This monthly summer program features family-friendly events such as storytelling, creative movement, stroller walks around Symphony Lake and other activities. There's no age limit for this free event, but the activities are definitely designed for younger children. Admission is free, but there may be a small fee for some of the activities such as the face painting and bounce houses.

Tuesday's theme is Down on the Farm Fun. Here's the schedule:

9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Gates open for games and crafts
9:30 a.m. noon: Stretch-N-Grow set up and ready for visitors
10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Trish Miller Music Show
10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Guests encouraged to stroll around the lake, explore the lawn, dance or visit our WakeMed sponsor table
11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Trish Miller Music Show

11:30 a.m. to noon: Venue remains open for more games and crafts

You can bring your own picnic, but concessions stands also will be open.

According to the amphitheater's website, parking there is very limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. Parking is not allowed in the amphitheater's neighbor business building parking lots.

It might be easier to park at Penny Road Elementary School, 10900 Penny Rd., and hop on a free five-minute CTran shuttle to the amphitheatre. Those riding the shuttles will get a goodie bag with free WakeMed Movies by Moonlight tickets and more. Be sure to park in the designated spaces in front of the elementary school. The shuttle will run all morning.
