Bond Reduced for Former Foster Parent Facing Rape Charges

A judge reduced bond Monday for a former foster parent accused of raping a child over a 10-year period.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A judge reduced bond for a former foster parent accused of raping a child over a 10-year period.

William Gregory King, 49, made his first court appearance by closed circuit television Monday afternoon.

King's attorney asked the $5.5 million bond be reduced. The judge dropped it to $10,000.

King remained in the Wake County Jail Monday night.
