Bomb Hoax Disrupts Shoppers Briefly

— Shoppers and employees at a Home Depot store in north Durham were disrupted briefly by a bomb hoax Friday mmorning, officials said.

Firefighters, police and the Durham Sheriff's Office bomb squad went to the store on North Pointe Drive, near the Guess Road interchange of Interstate 85 about 10:30 a.m.

They searched the store, found nothing and activity went back to normal before noon.
