Bojangles' manager killed in LaGrange

Posted June 25, 2010

— The manager of a Bojangles' on U.S. Highway 70 West was killed outside the restaurant late Thursday, Lenoir County authorities said.

The body of Kenneth Michael Leefe was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car, authorities said. He had been shot.

Investigators said that Leefe was apparently killed as he was about to head home after locking up for the night.

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation were interviewing on Friday employees and others who were at the Bojangles' late Thursday.

No other details of the crime, such as a motive or possible suspects, were released.

Crime Is out of control In this State. Maybe If the Law Enforcement was not so much In their foolishness and patrol streets and neighborhoods there might be a few less outlaws running the roads and streets.samiam1244

Really? why don't you become a police officer and see if you can be everywhere at the same exact moment that a crime occurs...its obvious that you have no idea what your talking about...when you get a clue, then you can respond.

Are you kidding me. I read these thing and it cracks me up NO MATTER what happens it is Law Enforcements fault.
I gotta ticket for speeding don't they have something better to do.. next day- biker hit by car- response, why aren't the police stopping speeders..
I got arrested for smoking pot, don't the cops have something better to do..
next day- marijuana dealer gets robbed and shot.. response: why aren't the police stoping these drugs in the area.
EVEN better: drug dealer shots and police doing a raid at his house, response: did they knock, did they announce, it was only weed. UNREAL

Faceman are you suggesting that if this guy would've have offered a refund or gave them another chicken sandwich...perhaps a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce ,tomato and lettuce..along with some tasty french fries and a large delicious Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew, that he would still be alive today? I think you're way off base there pal. And I blame you for making me hungry now!

guess someone did not like thier chicken..such a sad way to go..He did not even have a chance.

hmmmm...no money taken, still had his wallet, phone, and his car wasn't jacked or stolen either. Sounds like he was a target from the get-go. Perhaps a jealous rival or even a woman scorned (which is the worst). Nevertheless, the suspect lay in wait until he got to the car and then carried out his/her plan. Not good.
