Bojangles' manager killed in LaGrange
The manager of a Bojangles' on U.S. 70 West was killed outside the restaurant late Thursday, Lenoir County authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedLA GRANGE, N.C. — The manager of a Bojangles' on U.S. Highway 70 West was killed outside the restaurant late Thursday, Lenoir County authorities said.
The body of Kenneth Michael Leefe was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car, authorities said. He had been shot.
Investigators said that Leefe was apparently killed as he was about to head home after locking up for the night.
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation were interviewing on Friday employees and others who were at the Bojangles' late Thursday.
No other details of the crime, such as a motive or possible suspects, were released.
