Boheme to close restaurant, convert to catering space

Posted September 7, 2016

— After less than four months in business, Boheme has announced it will transition from a restaurant to a full time catering facility.

Owners made the announcement via social media Tuesday night.

"In the short time that we have had the opportunity to serve our guests in the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area we have realized two things. We are blessed with some of the best customers you could possibly ask for and there is an unbelievable demand to utilize the property as an event space," owners wrote on the restaurant's Facebook page. "We feel that making this transition is the best way to ensure that we are able to continue offering our unique style and hospitality while allowing the community to continue enjoying everything the property has to offer."

Boheme opened in late May at 5420 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. The space was previously home to Straw Valley Cafe.
