FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Special Agents with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command have launched a death investigation after a man’s body was found on Fort Bragg Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said that the man is believed to be a 25-year-old with no Department of Defense connections. The man was found in the Little River and has not been identified.

“At this point, we have no indication or evidence of foul play, but have not completely ruled it out while we conduct an independent and thorough death investigation,” said Army CID spokesman Chris Grey.
