Body Found in Nash County Woods
Authorities were investigating the discovery of a body Friday in Nash County.
Posted — UpdatedMIDDLESEX, N.C. — Authorities were investigating the discovery of a body in Nash County on Friday.
Nash County Sheriff Dick Jenkins said the body was found in a wooded area off Bryant Road about 2 miles from Middlesex.
The body appeared to be that of a Hispanic male, but deputies withheld the identity, saying it was not yet positive and that relatives of the man had not been notified., Jenkins said.
A medical examiner was expected to perform an autopsy Monday to determine the cause of death, the sheriff's office said.
