A body was found Thursday in the house where a missing Tarboro woman lived. However, police will not say if it is the missing woman.

TARBORO, N.C. — A body was found Thursday in the house where a missing Tarboro woman lived. However, police will not say if it is the missing woman.
Police have been looking for Aimee Lynn Pitt, 22, who was last seen on Dec. 30.
The body, which belongs to a white female, was sent to an area medical facility for an autopsy and identification. A cause of death was not released.
No other information was available.
