Bethanie Matheson, the winner of the State Fair's Karo "Sweet Treats for Sweethearts" contest, visited the WRAL Studio with her blue ribbon Hot Toddy Pecan Bars.

Matheson said she created her pecan bars by combining two of her favorite fall treats. The prize-winning bars get a unique twist with candied orange peel, an orange shortbread crust and a whiskey pecan filling.
