Bill Leslie's CD wins album of the year
WRAL anchor Bill Leslie has won Album of the Year from ZoneMusicReporter.com for his work, "Scotland: Grace of the Wild."

WRAL anchor Bill Leslie has won Album of the Year from ZoneMusicReporter.com for his work, “Scotland: Grace of the Wild.”
Leslie collected his prize Saturday at the 10th annual Zone Music Awards in New Orleans. The awards honors the best in new age, world, ambient, instrumental and similar genres of music.
Grace of the Wild is a tribute to Leslie's Scottish roots and was inspired by a trip he took there two years ago with his son, Will.
“I was thrilled,” Leslie said. “A lot of people worked on that album, and I was incredibly grateful.”
