Biker killed in Johnston County crash
A man was killed and a woman injured Friday night when their motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on N.C. Highway 50 near Garner.
Posted — UpdatedGARNER, N.C. — A man was killed and a woman injured Friday night when their motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on N.C. Highway 50 near Garner.
State Highway Patrol officials said the truck was turning out of Page Road when it was hit.
Troopers who responded to the wreck did not release the names of either person, but witnesses said both were wearing helmets.
The driver of the truck was not hurt. Troopers were investigating the cause of the crash late Friday.
