Bicyclist hit by car in Durham

A Duke University student was injured Monday morning when her bicycle was struck by a car, authorities said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Duke University student was injured Monday morning when her bicycle was struck by a car, authorities said.

The student, whose name was not released, was hit at the intersection of Morreene and Erwin roads in Durham shortly before 7 a.m.

She was taken to Duke Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No other information was released.
