Fayetteville, N.C. — He may be gone, but the "Bicycle Man's" mission lives on.
For more than 20 years, Moses Mathis spent his time cleaning up old bikes, then giving them to needy children at Christmas. He passed away in July, but is charity, in Fayetteville, will continue his work.
This Saturday, representatives will be outside the Walmart on Ramsey Street. Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., they'll collect bikes and money to be used for this holiday season.
